Pearl Jam Self-Titled Label: J Records Release Date: 05/02/06

It’s time to find that old flannel, strap on those combat boots and proceed immediately to Relative for this “sounds-so-good-you’ll-slap-your-momma” release from the Seattle legends. Tight songwriting, loud guitars, wailing solos and a wailing Vedder all come together to form one of their strongest efforts in the last ten years. If you were a fan of the old, this is the best way to get reacquainted with the band and current fans will find themselves just as pleased. It has all the best elements of Vs., Vitalogy and yes even Ten as well as tracks that display their continued development in sound. Disappointment is not an option and you will find plenty of variety that only a band consisting of five songwriters could produce. This is one of the greatest living rock bands of today and besides…people from Seattle are cool.
