This is a new post category that we will try to do this during the shows but some are more hectic than others. Little mini reviews is better than nothing so we’ll just see how this goes.

Bellafonte just got off the stage and their name is pronounced without saying the “e” on the end. They are jazzy and jammy like Karate but the vocals are tough and not smooth. Think the Owls, one of Tim Kinsella’s projects.

Private Eleanor does not sound like Elliott Smith as earlier described. Some of their recordings had a similar vibe but live was more upbeat and light-hearted. Can’t really think of who to compare it to but maybe All-Time Quarterback (Death Cab side project) or American Music Club.

Sheriff John Stone local rockers brought out the heads. If you like the eagles then you need to get a spoon and slurp this up. A little more country/folky than the desperado boys but good enough for your late night appetite.
