do you like funkrock?
The O.K. Bird hails from our state's capital and sounds like love child of Tom Waits and the entire Elephant Six Collective. Carefully teetering between blues-soaked-folk and low-fi baroque pop with a litle sip of country. This guy always delivers a great show. Opening Flower Happy Band can be summed as fantastic. Electro-bubble-gum pop that will give your hips a workout. The lovely and talented Sarah Carter will be opening up and giving us a glimpse of songs from the long-long ago.

summer summer time
Pop punk will always remind me of going to the beach, holding hands, skateboarding, friends, cookouts, bad tattoos, shaving my head, and a dead end job. These two bands are straight forward upbeat, posi pop punk for all the above mentioned scenarios. This will be a fun show. Come out and bring some ice cream.

Love Children of Color and Line
Eric and Jacqueline Bos
This series has been focusing on periods of time. Each of my smaller works symbolize and incorporate the day in which they were made. And my larger works are about longer periods of time, like seasons, with an emphasis on a few days during that time. I incorporate photos and line into my work as a representation of thoughts or actions. And I write as if in a journal in boxes so the words overlap and become indistinct, so I am the only one who knows what is written. I also write things and paint over the words as well as the pictures. This series is me, but masked to you (I can’t tell you everything about me). Each of these pieces is highlighting the small things, the little intricacies of life that happen only once, and deserve to be recorded. This series is my history book, my journal, my life.
