Episode No. 4 - All Offsides

Relative Love
Episode:All Offsides
Hi-res Cover Art: here

Description: We really need to better develop these themes as we do so many interesting things here at the store. From reading encyclopedias on CroMagnon Man to Sherlock Holmes novels - even the history of Italy - damn you Tuscany! Anyhow, new Mission of Burma is out and some other things to spotlight. Black Hollies is one of the guys from Rye Coalition doing 60s style psyche rock a la Zombies and Turtles. Oakley Hall gets their record out on new label Brah and sounds better than ever. I think we featured Dirty on Purpose in the last podcast but we are so fond of them that they get a 2nd round. Bouncing Souls have their new record and while we were hesitant only to think maybe they felt a need to grow up and completely ruin their sound, we were wrong and they still kick ass.

Features: Home, Feathers, Handsome Family, Mission of Burma, Black Hollies, Oakley Hall, Bouncing Souls, Dirty On Purpose and more.

Episode No. 3 - Fixed Brand New

Relative Love
Episode:Fixed Brand New
Hi-res Cover Art: here

Description: We orignially wanted to do a beach blanket bingo podcast to kick off the 4th of July weekend but alas we don’t know anything about it. Tel Aviv played here this past May and we’re very exciting along with Bravo Silva who played this past Nov. who were also awesome. They also played with Kiss Me Deadly and I now wish I had put some of them on this podcast. It’s fine Serena Maneesh is awesome enough to suffice. The Black was trying to get a show with us but we still have yet to work things out. They are friends with the Black Angels and that is how we came to know them. New Thom Yorke is out this week and people seem to be very excited. Thom probably isnt very excited - he’s always sad. I think he reads the news too much.

Features: Tel Aviv, Bravo Silva, Serena Maneesh, Thom Yorke, Calla, The Black and more.
