Anybody who missed this wacky trio of Philadelphia drum machine driven rock slingers last weekend at the Boot missed the boat (das boot). Though the crowd was small, everybody there was aware that something was happening (there was…a band was playing). And it was a magnificent sight to behold, vicariously living through Pony Pants as they jumped around, which the management discourages me from doing (not neccesarily you, specifically me). They jumped up several times, and frequently got down. Also, they rocked. Fortunately, their music has not gone with them, it remains in the form of an album entitled “Til Death Do Us Party” on Badmaster Records. Salude.
