Susie J. Horgan met Henry Rollins and Ian MacKaye at her ice cream-scooping job at Häagen-Dazs in Georgetown, where she was worked during her first year studying photography. She started taking pictures of the various D.C. punk rock bands as just a hobby. Some of those bands: Minor Threat, S.O.A., Teen Idles, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, The Cramps, Untouchables, Youth Brigade, the Germs. Many of these pictures have never been published. Some of the photos you may recognize as being cover art for classic punk records. This book will be available at Relative Theory later next week.
