I was writing a long post about all the upcoming shows at the Boot and Safari quit on me and it is gone. Lesson learned. So here is a 23rd of what I just lost.

Schooner - Friday night (2/9) at The Boot / 10PM $5
Seriously, this will make you feel uncomfortable, no wait, stop. what? does it hurt? no it feels really good. we just dont know each other that well. Yes we do. Trains and Parades is all you need to hear. Kinks meets Yo La Tengo plus others for good measure. Drink it up, you’ll feel better in the morning.

The Championship - Tuesday (2/13) at The Boot / 10PM $5
This is taking the speakers of my ‘88 bronco II and pushing them to lands unknown. Now The Championship is like a rolling ride with The Boss/Waylon Jennings but new rock filling the desperate vocals. I dont want to scare you but it is very similar to riding through space on a piano rocket. Which I did with Pink Floyd on the year of my birth. I’ve already seen everything. Locals Prisms will be on hand to complete this bill and showing us fellow civies that we have something to shout about in Tidewater.

The Never - Thursday (2/15) at The Boot / 10PM $5
This is not music for children but children can definitely get into it. This is pop rock at its best and they have already played Relative twice now and their sound is so friggin on point that they actually sell a sweet tooth at their merch table if you dont already have one. Cavity is their hookiest most favorite jam. Be sure to give them a listen. Not too mention they write story books as well. Sublime.
