When they played last aug or sep, they were awesome. 3 guitars never seemed more necessary.

Why is it that none of whatever this genre is comes to this area??? I have to drive to Carborro, DC, or Charlotseville to see pinback, mogwai, or explosions in the sky. Carborro? Really? What’s wrong with this area?
I was blown away/amazed to see sparrowes swarm and sing at relative theory. Keep up the post-pop/rock (or whatever you want to call).

everyone of those artists you mentioned, aside from pinback, we have gone after to book and we went after them aggresively. anytime we see pelican, jesu, do make say think, other “post rock” bands, etc we try and get them to play the area. some excuses we hear are - to far off 95, not a venue big enough (most are looking for 300-500 capacity), tours already been routed.
hopefully, with us now owning another venue, the boot, that has a bar and that sells food, we can make a much more competitive offer and bring those mentioned acts here.
right now i am listening to Pailhead and it rules.
