If you remember, Marissa Nadler graced us with a hauntingly beautiful show here last March. She said she was very fatigued from being out on the road for the past few months, but managed to seduce a roomful of strangers with her elegant voice and tales of heartache and hope. I hadn’t heard much from or about Marissa since late summer and tonight I found myself visiting her myspace. I was excited to see that she has been quit busy working on a new album, Songs III: Bird on the Water due out in Febuary on Peacefrog Records. She also has several new songs posted for your downloading pleasure. I urge you to stop by and nab those mp3s as they are quite beautiful.
