i think aaron and the drummer just had a beard. the other guys cut theirs off, but yes he does have a pretty dope beard.

mewithoutYou is an incredible band that gets widely ignored by the audience who would probably best recieve it because of the audience of the label it’s on (tooth and nail). Bands also suffering this misdeed include Discover America and amazing shoegaze act Starflyer 59. Not a lot of 13 year old pop punk fans listening to Sonic Youth, Yo La tengo and My Bloody Valentine.
That’s my opinion anyway.
PS: Franze interviewed mewithoutYou? I’m excited to see this.

and what james said is true. because no matter how great everyone says mEWITHOUTYOU or S59 is, i won’t believe it. how can the worst label in the northwest (and let’s not forget it’s sister label solid satate) be capable of putting out anything worth a shit? who knows? sunlight shines on a dog’s ass once a day.

tooth and nail’s artists sound NOTHING like mewithoutYou. i was suprised to find out they were signed to that label. but then again, that’s how i found out about mwy. after making a purchase at RTR about a year ago i got a tooth and nail vs. solid state sampler CD. everything was shit minus mwy.
