the Caballero* was birthed by Steve Caballero, circa 25 years ago. Hammock was birthed 4 billion years ago and existed as our planet’s earlier sounds of thunder, rain, and cooling magma. as the clouds gathered and seas formed, the natural forces of Hammock spawned the first single celled lifeforms who lived, loved and procreated.

jesus! i just had to approve of 5 comments on this post and to be honest Hammock - uh well it’s nice but it lacked something - I mean it’s kind of boring. Just like that group opening for Sigur Ros on their last tour Amina. It’s pretty difficult to stand out in the lullaby post rock field. I think this band is doing it right. i like hammock. i don’t think their reinventing the wheel, but i enjoy their elegant ambience.
i am really let down by the fact that no one mentioned the gallery resume. seriously. it’s the little things that make me really happy. and that find is one of them.
