Silent Years + Headlights
< author: david >
Friday night at Relative it will be time to put on your pop shoes and wander through the chocolate factory. Ah I wish Relative had a chocolate factory - maybe we will just have to settle for a chocolate fountain. A chocolate fountain! Mother, have you heard how Polyvinyl is looking for their new Rainer Maria. It sounds more like Stars and I have to tell you it is quite pleasant. This track was Spin’s download of the week or something so check it out.
The Headlights | It Isn’t Easy To Live That Well - mp3
Also on the bill is Detroit’s Silent Years - I am not on the fence about these guys. I am playing tee ball in their backyard every wednesday. When you go to their myspace [here] be sure to listen to a track entitled Aisleways. Good little driving tune for any spring day.
also w/ Foxes Through Fences - easily one of the areas top 5 bands - but I am partial to post rock. oh well.
