last night i learned that bad comedy is just as funny as good comedy. but rest assure that on May 15th you will laugh really damn hard. tears baby. tears.

Michael Showalter - have you seen Stella? please tell me this show is stupid and I can kick you in your privates. really ladies and gentlemen is some of the best shit Comedy Central is doing. You may also remember Showalter as Doug from the State “I’m Doug and I’m outta heeeeeeerrree.” I heard he hates that shit so I am going to hire a redneck to say that shit and maybe Showalter will hit him with the microphone. Simple violence makes good comedy. plus Showalter is in the movie version of Reno: 911 - FUN-NAY!

Eugene Mirman - you may not know his name but you definitely know his comedy. Sometimes he has done stand-up with Modest Mouse and Yo La Tengo. He has tons of videos on his site and that marvelous crooning child bit is funny as hell - watch the Scotch and Soda video and you will lose your shit - when he says “spiders need to have fun” I nearly fell out of my chair. PLUS his cd is coming out in May on Sub Pop Records and is a 2 CD and a DVD set - now that is how you comedy cd baby!

Leo Allen - a writer for SNL from 2002-2005 and on Premium Blend and Comic Remix. Not going to lie - I can’t say I have seen this guy but I probably have like once or twice. Another fact. Showalter and Mirman wouldn’t bring him along if he wasn’t funny. He also helped with Stella so it seems he has been a long time friend. You dont stay friends with people who suck. you stay friends with people who are funny.
